An apparatus for regulating elevation of a basket of a refrigerator is provided to vary the elevation position of the basket according to a manipulation of a user. An apparatus for regulating elevation of a basket of a refrigerator includes a refrigerator body(10), a lower door, a basket(50), a basket elevation driving section, a door rail, and a drive control section. The body is divided into an upper storage chamber and a lower storage chamber. The lower door slidably opens and closes an opening on the front surface of the lower storage chamber. The basket is connected to the lower door so as to be slid. The basket elevation driving section is provided on the lower side of the basket to elevate the basket. One end of the door rail is fixed to the lower storage chamber and the other end thereof is fixed to the lower door. The drive control section transmits a drive signal to operate the basket elevation driving section.
