PROTECTION CIRCUIT FOR SECONDARY BATTERY AND SECONDARY BATTERY COMPRISING THE SAME

A protection circuit for a secondary battery and a secondary battery including the same are provided to improve stability of the secondary battery by interrupting and discharging the current of an external electrode applied to the secondary battery in a high temperature. In a protection circuit for a secondary battery(V1), one end of a current limiting unit is connected to a first pole of the secondary battery(V1). A switching unit connects a second pole of the second battery(V1) and a first pole of the external electrode in response to a temperature or connects the second pole of the secondary battery(V1) and the other end of the current limiting unit. A conductive wire connects the first pole of the secondary battery(V1) and the second pole of the external electrode.
