A model assembly of a thatched cottage is provided to easily assemble lateral plates, vertical beams and horizontal beams through interference fit, thereby shortening the assembling time. A base plate(20) has dozens of drilled holes(20a) arranged in rows and columns. Columns(22A) are installed on the base plate, and have bosses inserted into the drilled holes and long grooves. Horizontal beams(24) are supported by upper ends of the columns, and have plural grooves on one side thereof. Vertical beams(26) are arranged in the perpendicular direction to the horizontal beams, and have stepped portions coupled to the grooves of the horizontal beams. Lateral plates(30) are arranged around the columns, and are inserted into the grooves of the columns. A roof assembly(130) is located on the horizontal beams and the vertical beams. |
