The proposed method for determining the content of calcium in biological liquid consists in diluting the liquid sample with distilled water, adding acetone to the sample, providing alkaline reaction in the sample, at pH = 12 à 13, by adding 0,5N caustic sodium, adding substance that produces the coloration of the sample, accomplishing the colorimetric analysis of the sample and determining the content of calcium by comparing the analysis results with the reference data.
