METHOD FOR PREDICTING ONE-YEAR LIFE EXPECTANCY FOR INFANTS

The method for predicting the one-year life expectancy for the infants comprises the assessment of the parameters of favorable and unfavorable prognosis and the complex indices of the mortality of the infants (MI+) or its absence (MI-). Both indices are assessed at two stages: before the moment of birth (1) and after the birth (2) according to the formulae. When (MI+) exceeds (MI-) at both stages (1) and (2), the one-year life expectancy for the infants is positive.
