An antiseptic for protection of leather materials (leather raw material, half-finished product, finished leather) from microbial lesion contains sodium salt of dithiocarbamic (or ethylenbisdithiocarbamic) acid. In addition the antiseptic contains sodium tripolyphosphate, disodium salt of ethylenediamine - N, N, N', N'- tetraacetic acid (Trilon B) and water.
