A method relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the blast-furnace production. In the variants of realizing the method of blast-furnace for «traction» blast-furnace keeper gases are pass across the hot blast canal and further through the pipe-bend to the «traction» pipe with the open «traction» valve, at that the rare gas is supplied in two blasts: the first into the mixing jet of cold andhot blast after the safety valve following along the cold blast with the pressure at 9,8-19,6 kPa more, than cold blast pressure, before the safety valve during the blast-furnace staying as well as in the whole safety valve of cold and hot blast in general, the second - as a blast into the «traction» pipe jet after its valve following the blast-furnace keeper gases with the pressure at 0,980-1,120 kPa more, than in the base of the «traction» pipe, at that the general quantity of the rare gas, which is mixed with blast-furnace keeper gas is selected from the condition of its temperature reduction to the safe level for resistance of refractory materials of «traction» unit. The invention increases reliability, durability and workability of the «traction» unit.
