The utility model relates to manufacturing bullets with traumatic effect. A method to make shells for cartridges with traumatic effect with rubber bullets includes making shell ingot with bottom with socket for capsule and cylindrical side walls, with adjustment of dimensions of the side walls by mechanical processing. To decrease consumption of expensive non-ferrous metals and to decrease labor consumption and power consumption as semi-finished product one uses the shell of cartridge made before, with diameter of 7.62 mm at the rim, free of bullet, powder charge and capsule. Mechanical processing of the semi-finished product is performed through cutting it in length with calibration of the mouth obtained for bullet with traumatic action with prescribed caliber.
