A flowmeter is provided to measure a small flux of a fluid with high measurement accuracy. In a flowmeter(10), a casing(11) has an enlarged portion(12), and is arranged in a vertical direction. A float(13) is surrounded by the enlarged portion of the casing, partially has at least a detection surface(13a), and is pushed up by a fluid flowing upward in the case. At least one displacement sensor(15) is arranged outside the enlarged portion of the casing so as to detect the axial displacement of the float by magnetizing the detection surface of the float.
