A system for providing contents information of a BLOG on an idle-mode screen of a mobile communication terminal, a method thereof, and a computer-readable recording medium on which a program for executing the method is recorded are provided to enable the mobile terminal to transmit resources for clipping the contents of online portable servers to a service server and receive extracted/converted contents from the service server before displaying the contents on the idle-mode screen, thereby automatically pushing or pulling the contents on the idle-mode screen when the contents of the BLOG, served in the online portable servers, are modified or the latest contents are added in the service server. A system for providing contents information of a BLOG on idle-mode screens of mobile communication terminals(141~142) comprises the followings: online portable servers(111~113) which provide the contents of the BLOG to a service server(121) through a communication network; the service server(121) which has a built-in contents extracting/converting program which extracts the contents from the online portable servers(111~113) and converts the extracted contents so as to be displayed on the idle-mode screens of the mobile communication terminals(141~142); and the mobile communication terminals(141~142) which transmit resources for clipping the contents of the online portable servers(111~113) to the service server(121) and receive the extracted/converted contents from the service server(121) before displaying the contents on the idle-mode screen.
