<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The sheet of thin paper used as a cover for the filter unit of a cigarette is provided with a row of ventilation holes not to be covered by glue. At least one flame retardant and one glue provided with a pleasant flavor are guided with the use of different pressure levels (P1,P2,P3) into a drum (32) moving on a slide- (35) and a ball bearing (36). Several cams (37) are distributed along the segments (461,462,463,464,465) of the drum (32) in order to keep the ventilation holes free of glue.
