The utility model relates to manufacturing of rifle ammunition. A method to make shells for cartridges includes making semi-finished product for shell, with bottom with socket for capsule and side walls, and mechanical processing of the mouth of the semi-finished product to get the mouth. To decrease consumption of expensive non-ferrous metals and to decrease labor consumption and power consumption as semi-finished product one uses the shell of cartridge made before, free of bullet, powder charge and capsule.
