The proposed speed transducer contains a driving roller, an encoded disk, three photodetectors, a unit for determining the order of pulse sequence, two AND logic elements, a switching unit, a computing unit, two indicators, a trigger, and a reset button. The encoded disk contains transparent and opaque areas, which are arranged in staggered order, and a track for determining the number of the disk revolutions. Two photodetectors are designed for reading pulses from the encoded disk. The outputs of these photodetectors are connected to the corresponding inputs of the unit for determining the order of pulse sequence. The output of the said unit is connected to the first input of the first logic element. The third photodetector is used to measure the number of the disk revolutions. The output of this photodetector is connected to the second inputs of the logic elements. The output of the second logic element is connected to the input of the switching unit. The third inputs of the logic elements are connected to the disable signal output of the computing unit. The output of the first logic element is connected to the first input of the computing unit. The second input of the computing unit is connected to the output of the second logic element. The inputs of the indicators are connected to the corresponding outputs of the computing unit. The contacts of the reset button are inserted in the corresponding circuits of the trigger, computing unit, and the unit for determining the order of pulse sequence.
