摘要 An energy saving type method and an apparatus for producing high purity carbon dioxide are provided to use a condenser and a heat exchanger simultaneously, remove impurities at a relatively low temperature using a catalytic material with high decomposition efficiency, greatly improve adsorption efficiency by at least two adsorption columns, reduce installation cost by reducing height of a distillation column, and improve durability by operating the distillation column at low temperature and atmospheric pressure. An energy saving type of apparatus for producing high purity liquefied carbon dioxide comprises: a condenser(13) and a heat exchanger(14) for converting low purity liquefied carbon dioxide into low purity carbon dioxide with a predetermined temperature in the gas state; a means for injecting a predetermined amount of oxygen into a flow of the low purity carbon dioxide in the gas state to easily perform oxidation reaction of the low purity carbon dioxide in the gas state; a combustion furnace(18) in which a decomposition catalyst capable of performing decomposition reaction at a low temperature is embedded to convert the methane, ethan and hydrocarbon material into water and carbon dioxide by oxidizing oxygen, and methane, ethan and hydrocarbon material contained in low purity carbon dioxide; a heat exchanger(15) for cooling high temperature gas containing water, nitrogen and carbon dioxide generated from the combustion furnace; a discharge port for discharging water generated from the combustion furnace and the heat exchanger to the outside; adsorption columns(28) in which an adsorbent(21) is embedded to remove water and moisture from gas of which water is partially removed, and which contain water, moisture, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide; and a distillation column(24) for cooling the flow of carbon dioxide from which water and moisture are removed from the adsorption column to a predetermined temperature, and controlling oxygen and nitrogen contained in the flow to predetermined temperature and pressure to separate oxygen and nitrogen by an evaporation temperature difference.
