A method of treatment of rear surfaces of shaper tool includes setting of the blank of cutter into the holder, setting the holder in rotary motion and with the help of the shaper tool the rear surfaces are worked. The blank of cutter is installed in the holder perpendicularly to the axis of its rotation with a displacement for the eccentricity e from the axis. The workable end of blank is set at a distance A=e.tg? from the line, which passes through the axis of holder, and is set in rotary-forward motion for the value K=R.tg?1 along rotational axis.
