The proposed device for determining rock pressure contains a casing, a diaphragm, a fiber lightguide, light-emitting diode, and a photodetector. The end part of the lighgtguide is arranged at a specified distance from the surface of the diaphragm. The opposite end part is divided into two branches. One of the branches is optically coupled with the light-emitting diode, and the other branch is coupled with the photodetector.
