The proposed method for screening organic reagents for analysis consists in treating the solution of the reaction product with ions of chemical element and measuring the optical density of the solution in the range of long wave radiation absorbed by the solution. As the chemical element, boron is used. The coloration intensity of the solution is determined by a contrast scale.
