<p>A plastic concrete composition and a molded article thereof are provided to improve mechanical strength like tensile and bending strength and to secure good durability by producing the plastic concrete composition containing thermoplastic resin such as low-density polyethylene, polyamide, and polystyrene, fly-ash, and sand. A method for manufacturing a plastic concrete molded article comprises the steps of: supplying a plastic concrete composition containing low-density polyethylene of 20-30wt.%, polyamide of 10-20wt.%, polystyrene of 15-25wt.%, fly-ash of 10-20wt.%, and sand of 5-45wt.%; firstly melting the plastic concrete composition at the temperature of 300-400 deg.C; secondly melting the firstly melted material again at 200-300 deg.C; and extrusion-molding the secondly melted material. The molded article is a street tree protecting chair, a bench, a stair block, a pavement block, an open channel, a manhole lid, a boundary stone, a cable trough, or a bollard.</p> |
