A circuit arrangement with at least one catalytic measuring element 1, wherein the at least one catalytic measuring element 1 is connected to the supply voltage without a series resistor and without an upstream thermal fuse. The at least one catalytic measuring element is dimensioned in such a way that its resistance, whilst representing a temperature-dependent variable, varies within limits which at all times ensure sufficient limitation of the current and thus enable an effective prevention of a spark ignition in potentially explosive surroundings. This circuit arrangement makes it possible to develop gas-measuring devices with catalytic measuring elements which are distinguished by a particularly low energy requirement. |
