An apparatus and a method for measuring a three-dimensional shape using color information are provided to efficiently use three color information by measuring the three-dimensional shape through the selection of a valid peak value satisfying a predetermined tolerance range. A method for measuring a three-dimensional shape using color information includes the steps of: performing digital signal processing of three color signals photographed by a color CCD(Charge-Coupled Device) camera respectively(S11); extracting peak values about digitally processed three colors respectively(S12); and measuring a three dimensional shape by selecting a valid peak value among the extracted peak values(S17).
