Provided is a three-dimensional electrode terminal for a pouch type battery, which allows easy connection with an electric connection member with no need for deformation, has high mechanical strength and stability, and is useful for manufacturing a large-scale battery formed by stacking multiple cells. The three-dimensional electrode terminal(100) for a pouch type battery including an electrode assembly contained in a pouch-like casing has a portion(120) that protrudes out of the casing, the portion having a predetermined thickness(t) and a vertical end surface(124) at the end(122) thereof. The portion has such a thickness that the electrode terminal allows electric connection by itself with no need for artificial deformation of the electrode terminal.
