A method for displaying channel information in an image device is provided to allow a user to more easily confirm and edit the channel information. When a channel editing menu is selected by a user(S10), a control unit displays the entire channel list on a screen(S30). The control unit displays sub-channel lists of at least one stage or more which belong to the entire channel list together with the entire channel list on the screen according to the selection of the user(S40,S50,S60,S70). The control unit displays a channel list which belongs to the sub-channel list of the last stage among the sub-channel lists together with the sub-channel lists on the screen(S80,S90).
