A method for removing a TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) noise by using an adaptive filter of a mobile communication terminal and the mobile communication terminal therefor are provided to improve speech quality by effectively removing a noise generated by transmitting and receiving data. A vocoder(211), driven by a power signal from a battery, performs a voice signal process. An adaptive filter unit(212) performs adaptive filtering to generate a noise estimation signal for removing a TDMA noise included in a voice signal outputted to a sound signal output terminal by using the power signal of the battery as a reference signal. A subtracting unit(213) subtracts the generated noise estimation signal from a voice signal inputted from the vocoder(211), and outputs a voice signal in which the TDMA noise is removed to the sound signal output terminal.
