A built-in outdoor unit for an air conditioner is provided to easily attach and detach the outdoor unit to and from the outer wall of a building. A built-in outdoor unit for an air conditioner includes a louver frame and an outdoor unit case. The louver frame includes an outer frame(104) and an inner frame(106). The inner frame is separably engaged with the outer frame and is divided into a suction region and a discharge region. A plurality of louver blades(108) are installed in the inner frame. The outdoor unit case is separably installed in the louver frame. The outdoor unit case includes a front surface section, both side surface sections, a rear surface section, a bottom surface section, and an upper surface section. The outer frame is installed in an inner wall of an opened space of the outer wall of a building. The inner frame is installed in the inner frame. The outdoor unit case is installed in the louver frame.
