A water purifier which extends the exchange cycle of the filter and improves water purification performance by passing tap water through a filter so that the tap water is purified only when it is necessary to use purified water and allowing non-purified water to be used directly when it is not necessary to use the purified water is provided. A water purifier comprises: cases(1,3) which can be connected to a faucet(P), in which a space is formed, and which have plural outlets(31,33) formed thereon; a filter(51) which is contained in the cases to filter water flown in through the faucet; a direction converting member(71) which is disposed on the cases and converts a flow direction of water coming out of the faucet so as to allow water coming out of the faucet to pass through the filter or prevent water coming out of the faucet from passing through the filter; and a handle(73) coupled to the direction converting member and the cases to move the direction converting member.
