A flat display device is provided to suppress the generation of impurities and shield static electricity and electromagnetic waves by coating a conductive polymer material on a connecting member. A flat display device is formed with a flat display panel and a frame. The frame is used for supporting the flat display panel. A conductive polymer material is coated on a connecting member for connecting the flat display panel with the frame. The connecting member is formed of a plastic resin. The conductive polymer material includes polythiophene. The connecting member is formed with an exhaust tube(300).
