IMPROVED SOFT TISSUE IMPLANT

Soft tissue implants (10) can be constructed by forming an outer membrane in to a closed pouch (14) and filling material (16) in that pouch (14). A composition for u se as a filler material (16) in such a soft tissue implant (10) may include elastin and collagen. Th e filling material (16) has collagen as a component thereof, and this collagen can be cross- linked. Methods of making such implants are described.
