An image forming device, and a document data storing method and a document printing method using same are provided to increase storing efficiency of scanned document files, and print the stored file to a printing sheet together with a document image for hard copy of the document by coding the stored file. A scanning part(110) generates a page image by scanning the document. A controller(160) generates text data by reading the text from the generated page image. A storing part(140) stores the generated text data. The controller generates a barcode image corresponding to the text data. A printing part(150) prints the page image and the barcode image to the printing sheet. The controller makes the printing part print the barcode image to a specific position in the printing sheet according to user selection.
