ILLUMINATING EPOXY SYRINGE CONNECTOR DEVELOPMENT

An apparatus for checking the quantity of residual epoxy in a syringe for semiconductor chip attaching equipment is provided to clearly check the quantity of residual epoxy remaining in a syringe by naked eyes by additionally installing an LED(light emitting device) light irradiating unit capable of irradiating light to the inside of the syringe. A second light penetration hole(24) is vertically formed in the center of a connector(16). An air supply line(14) is formed at one side of the connector, perforated to the light penetration hole. The connector is airtightly mounted on the upper part of a syringe(10) by an O-ring(22). A first light penetration hole(32) is formed in the center of an LED case(26) of a cylindrical structure, and an LED(28) is attached to the upper part of the first light penetration hole. The LED case is airtightly coupled to the upper part of the connector by an O-ring. A switch(34) is connected to the LED to turn on/off the LED. A lens(30) is mounted on the lower part of the first light penetration hole of the LED case to concentrate the light of the LED on the inside of the syringe through the second light penetration hole.
