A therapeutic agent for treating sleep disorder of Prader-Willi syndrome in children containing adiponectin as an active ingredient is provided to alleviate sleep disordered breathing(SDB) and induce rapid eye movement(REM). The therapeutic agent for treating sleep disorder of Prader-Willi syndrome in children contains adiponectin as an active ingredient, wherein the dosage of the therapeutic agent in children is 0.1-10 mg/kg per day; and the therapeutic agent further contains pharmaceutically acceptable carriers and auxiliary.
