An image forming device equipped with a partition printing function and a method thereof are provided to solve inconvenience for making a user rearrange prints after printing by enabling the user to set printing order of partitioned pages when one document comprising multiple pages is partitioned and printed in a page unit. A page partitioning part(210) partitions a document image into the number of pages in case that one document comprises the multiple pages. A printing order setting part(220) sets the printing order for the pages. An image printing part(230) prints the partitioned images according to the set order. A scanning part(200) obtains the document image by scanning the document. In case that there are more than two document images comprising many pages, the printing order setting part sets the same printing order as the first document image to the rest document images if the printing order for the first document image is set.
