An eccentric valve having a transparent window is provided to allow a user to recognize an abnormal state of the valve by forming the transparent window on one side of the tip end of the valve body. In an eccentric valve having a transparent window, a through-hole(3b) is formed lengthwise in an auxiliary shaft(3a) having a flange shape formed at an opposite portion of the tip end of a valve shaft(3) for regulating an eccentric valve body(1) and a valve disc(2). An engagement plate(7) in which packings(4,5) and a transparent window(6) are interposed is installed at an outer end portion of the through-hole and is engaged by a bolt(8).
