A thin film transistor substrate, an LCD comprising the same, and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simplify the manufacturing process and save the manufacturing cost, by forming a color filter through an inkjet type. A gate line is formed in a predetermined direction on an insulating substrate. A data line is formed across the gate line. A thin film transistor is electrically connected to the gate line and the data line. A black matrix(150) partially overlaps the gate line, the data line, and the thin film transistor. A color filter(160) is formed in a region demarcated by the black matrix. A pixel electrode(170) is formed on the color filter, and electrically connected to the thin film transistor.
