A method for providing road guidance information to a mobile terminal and a road guidance service providing system employing the same are provided to automatically change the destination of a path by measuring location information of a target without the necessity for a user to manually change the destination, even when the target moves. A map information database(601) records road map information. A communication unit(602) receives a road guidance service request, including the first location information of the first mobile terminal and terminal identifier of the second mobile terminal, from the first mobile terminal. A location information query including the terminal identifier of the second mobile terminal is transmitted to a location information measurement server, and the second location information of the second mobile terminal is received from the location information measurement server(603). A path information generating unit(604) generates path information having the first location information as a start point and the second location information as a destination.
