FIELD: printing industry; folders and methods of clipping and folding of the printed matter. ^ SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the folder with several driving engines and to the method of the method of clipping and folding of the printed matter. The folder has the first barrel at least with one first catch for holding the sheets of paper and at least with one knife for indentation of the sheets of paper with formation of the first fold; the second barrel at least with one first valve for holding the folded sheets of paper at the first fold, the first engine for driving at least of one first catch, and the second engine for driving of at least one knife of the first barrel and, at least, one first valve of the second barrel. The folder can have the third engine for driving of at least one second valve of the second barrel and, at least, one second knife of the third barrel. The method of clipping and scoring of the printed matter consists, that set in motion by the first engine the first closed contour, in which the clipping of the printed matter into sheets takes place and their relocating to the first catch; then by the second engine set in motion the second closed contour, in which the sheets are indented into the first valve and are transferred to the second catch; then set in motion by the third engine the third closed contour, in which the sheets are indented into the second valve. This simplifies the adjustment of the group of the valves of the folding barrel and change of the kind of the folding due to utilization of several electric engines in the drive. ^ EFFECT: the invention ensures simplification of adjustment of the group of the valves of the folding barrel and the change of the folding kind. ^ 14 cl, 3 dwg |
