PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the rising of light emission steep in order to correctly control a light emission luminance.

SOLUTION: The drive circuit for the electrooptical device having a plurality of electrooptical elements to be controlled by a data signal which is supplied via one of a plurality of data lines and specifies gradation, comprises: a first voltage impression part which impresses first voltage lower than light emission threshold voltage of the electrooptical elements to the data lines; a light emission current supply part which supplies light emission current which makes the electrooptical elements emit light to the electrooptical elements; a second voltage impression part which impresses second voltage lower than the first voltage to the data lines; and a connection switching part which connects the first voltage impression part, the light emission current supply part and the second voltage impression part to the data lines by switching them.
