<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing component control device which detects anything caught up not by its hardness but at a small load. <P>SOLUTION: The control device is provided with a motor 23 for driving a window glass 11 to open or close, a revolution detector 27 that outputs pulse signals as the motor 23 revolves and a controller 31 (a catch detection means) that detects a foreign matter caught up according to a revolution speed signal. The controller 31 calculates changes in the motor revolution speed (revolution speed differences Δω) based on the revolution speed signal, detects the beginning of anything to be caught up based on the revolution speed differences Δω, calculates a change S in the revolution speed ω after the time when detecting the beginning of anything to be caught up, and establishes that foreign matter has been caught up when the change S exceeds a catch judgment threshold value β. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
