<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive excess current protection circuit which does not depend on the consumption current characteristics, without requiring high-current capacity in a structure circuit of a DC/DC converter or without inviting output voltage drop at consumption of a large current in short time, and to provide the DC/DC converter. <P>SOLUTION: The circuit includes two thresholds which are a first threshold OCL S, restricting a large current which HD loading electrical/electronic equipment 11 consumes momentarily and a second threshold OCL L restricting smaller current which the HD electrical/electronic equipment 11 that continuously consumes for a fixed time T, and excess current is restricted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
