<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition excellent in curing property without impairing storage stability and to provide an inkjet recording method scarcely causing clogging and excellent in adhesion to a medium to be recorded and capable of printing good characters or images onto the medium to be recorded. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition comprises a cationically polymerizable compound having a styryl group or an α-methylstyryl group, e.g. 4-methylstyrene, and a photocationic polymerization initiator.
