<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely release a DMA transfer mode, and to speed up initialization processing for a printer. <P>SOLUTION: This print controller (host device 3) for DMA (Direct Memory Access) transferring an image data concerned in a received image printing command to a printing buffer 15, and for controlling the printer 1 having a DMA transfer mode for executing the print, is provided with a printing command generation part 33 for generating the image printing command, a memory 35 for storing a data size of the image data concerned in the image printing command generated by the printing command generation part 33, and a printer control part 34 for transmitting an initialization command added with a null data corresponding to a data size stored in the memory 35 at the head, to the printer 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
