<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formed charcoal for a fuel, equipped with an equivalent or a higher performance in calorific value and long lasting property than those of the charcoal produced by using natural woods such as oak or Japanese oak, especially a "bincho charcoal" called as a high grade charcoal and found to be usful in cooking or the bincho charcoal produced in China, and also the same having the calorific value, long lasting property, igniting performance and further radiation heat value controlled for cooking. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the formed charcoal for the fuel is provided by mixing 5-25% artificial graphite powder with charcoal powder becoming a raw material and consisting of a carbonized material occupying≥80% of carbonaceous material, adding as binders, 1 kind or a multiple number of kinds of wood vinegar tar, animal and plant oil and fat, vegetable-derived sugar or waste edible oil, compression-forming, then performing a re-burning treatment in a reducing atmosphere under approximately 600-1,000°C. The method for producing the formed charcoal for the fuel is characterized by burning its surface after performing the re-burning treatment and before extinguishing for attaching ash components on its surface in order to attach potassium (K<SB>2</SB>O) and calcium (CaO) which are the ash components of the charcoal, as a combustion catalyst on the surface of the formed charcoal for the fuel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
