IP TELEPHONE SYSTEM, USER SIDE DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR FIXING POSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user device for IP telephone applicable to 0AB-J number service, and to provide an IP telephone system including that user device. SOLUTION: The user side device imparts an MAC address unique to a telephone, and outputs a VoIP based voice packet imparted with VLAN-ID of route information representative of a given line as a tag to the telephone. A host apparatus receiving the VoIP based voice packet has a table storing a predetermined MAC address assigned to each telephone and the VLAN-ID tag as a tag. The host apparatus detects whether the telephone is connected with a regular position or not by comparing and collating a tag from the telephone with a tag on the table. Since the tag of the VoIP packet includes route information, connection position of the telephone can be authenticated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
