IMAGE PROCESSOR, IMAGE READER PROVIDED WITH THE SAME AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of image quality degradation that an impression viewed in a color region close to an achromatic color becomes largely different from a source image due to the color vision characteristics of a human in color subtraction by the integration of colors when generating main images for respective colors for multilayering color images. SOLUTION: When extracting from the source image the main images of characters or the like plotted by luminance different from the base in the source image, sorting them by respective display colors and generating the image data of the main image for the respective colors, a display color candidate extracted from the source image is integrated with a display color candidate nearby on the condition that they are included in the same division space and the display color is decided for each main image part. At the time, in the case that the plurality of display color candidates satisfying the integration condition exist in both of a prescribed achromatic color region and a chromatic color region on the outer side, the display color candidates existing separately in both regions are not integrated with each other and are adopted as the display colors respectively.
