PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device used for conducting a remote operation from a distant point, with respect to an computer system with an operation system not started yet in a LAN. SOLUTION: This remote control device 10 is provided with an on-line module 14 and a remote control module 16. the on-line module is connected on line to the computer system desired to be remote-controlled by an operator with a belonging MAC (Media Access Control) address thereof, based on a MAC data table, and imparts a virtual IP to the computer system.
