PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of exhibiting enhanced operability in taking in and out a cooled article in a storage compartment while maintaining cold storage effect that the cooled air is prevented from escaping from the storage compartment when an outer door is opened, and capable of adopting a structure for partitioning the storage compartment with a high freedom degree. SOLUTION: This refrigerator is a double opening and closing structure by the outer door and an inner lid member. The inner lid member is constituted by a lower inner lid member 20 having an openable and closable window member 4 and an upper inner lid member 2, the lower inner lid member 20 is turnably supported by a lower end, the upper inner lid member 2 is turnably supported by a turning side end of the lower inner lid member 20, and a partition receiving part 52 is provided for horizontally supporting the upper inner lid member 2 and an extension member 1 turnably provided on it in the storage compartment 60 in such a state that a front surface lower side of the storage compartment 60 is closed by the lower inner lid member 20. Further, a lock mechanism is provided which switches between a locked state wherein a part thereof is fitted with a lock pin 51 and the upper inner lid member 2 is held in a closed position and an unlocked state in correspondence with a turning position of the extension member 1.
