PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polished rice sorting head apparatus by which polished rice is sorted by bringing a film-like molten body into close contact with a polished rice layer and then ejecting water-soluble large droplets thereto, and its mechanism. SOLUTION: A nozzle is formed by two or more narrow pipes 7 in a liquid tank enclosed by a molded body 2 and a cut-off groove 11 is provided at a central part of the narrow pipe. An electromagnetic valve 10 provided at an entrance of the nozzle is pulse-driven to make air of definite pressure flow-in from an air tank 5 and make liquid of arbitrary size eject to a medium. At this time, since inside of the narrow pipe is decompressed, the liquid in the liquid tank 22 flows-in from the cut-off groove 11 again to carry out repetition action. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
