PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump mounting base and a manhole pumping system using it, which enable any number of pump mounting bases to be installed in a juxtaposed manner even in a pit except a manhole from the manhole pumping system, according to need, by both enables the single use of one pump mounting base and enabling the plurality of pump mounting bases to be used in a juxtaposed state. SOLUTION: In the pump mounting base 2 for the manhole pumping system, a cylindrical prewhirl recess 7 for inserting a suction port of a pump, and a liquid inflow passage section 14 for making a liquid flow into the recess 7 are integrally formed; and the passage section 14 is arranged almost in parallel with the center line C of a mounting/demounting device 5 for mounting the pump, so that the liquid from the passage section 14 can flow into the recess 7 in the tangential direction of the inner wall surface of the recess 7. When the pump mounting bases 2 are arranged in such a manner as to be juxtaposed in the manhole 1 in the same direction, the center B of the recess 7 is one-sided by a predetermined dimension D in the direction of the side of the passage part 14 with respect to the center line C of the device 5.
