PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant master batch capable of uniformly dispersing a phosphazene compound as a flame retardant in a polyester resin, and a molded article using the batch. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant master batch comprises (A) a polyester resin, (B) a polycarbonate resin, (C) a polyester elastomer resin and (D) a phosphazene compound. Since the flame-retardant master batch can uniformly disperse the phosphazene compound in the polyester resin as the flame retardant, the master batch is extremely useful when flame retardance is imparted to the polyester resin. Since the flame-retardant master batch can contain the phosphazene compound in a high concentration, the master batch can be used in high dilution ratio for the polyester resin. Therefore, the flame-retardant master batch is suitable for applications such as fibers, films and sheets using the polyester resin as a base. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
