PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the supporting stiffness in supporting a suspension cross mounting bolt on a side frame by enhancing the stiffness and strength of a coupling part between a wheel house, a floor panel, and the side frame using a simple structure. SOLUTION: A rear bodywork of a vehicle configured so that the outer end of the side frame 7 is joined with the wheel house 8 and the floor panel 6 is joined with the side frame 7, includes a reinforcing gusset 9 having a greater plate thickness than the floor panel 6, wherein the gusset 9 is furnished with a horizontal plate part 9a with the inner end joined with a horizontal flange part 7c at the inner end of the side frame 7 and a flange part 9b extended along the vehicle width direction inner surface of the wheel house 8 from the outer end of the horizontal plate part 9a, and the flange part 9b is joined with the outer end of the side frame 7 and the wheel house 8 while the outer end of the floor panel in the neighborhood of the wheel house is joined with the inner end of the gusset.
