The ring binder (B) has a clamping device (A) at the top of its front cover. For use as a conventional ring binder, file or personal organizer, it has a ring mechanism (D) inside the spine. There may also be another clamping device, a mirror-image of the first one, on the inside of the front cover. The clamping cevices may be fixed to each other with screws.
